Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Employment and Training Program Manager

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Employment and Training (SNAP E&T) Program Manager leads the Office of Workforce Development's team of Provider Managers across Illinois, overseeing compliant and effective service delivery to SNAP participants. The role manages programmatic monitoring, develops training and technical assistance, supervises staff, and represents the Department at stakeholder engagements. This position requires extensive knowledge of workforce development and human services program regulations, with responsibility for policy implementation, compliance oversight, and cross-functional coordination.

• Four years of college coursework preferably in business or public administration
• Three years of progressively responsible administrative experience in workforce development, employment and training, or human services programs
• Three years of experience interpreting and applying state and federal program regulations, developing policy guidance, and delivering training
• Three years of supervisory experience assigning work, coaching staff, and conducting performance evaluations
• Three years of experience managing complex projects with cross-functional coordination and stakeholder issue resolution
• Three years of experience with program data systems and Microsoft Excel for performance tracking and reporting
