Responsibilities
- Serve as division EHS process owner to develop and continuously improve EHS processes, tools and training.
- Engage division leadership to lead change and take appropriate actions to address environmental risks and protect employees from hazards in the workplace.
- Create the vision for change.
- Develop and facilitate collaborative relationships within the division and across functional groups to ensure strategic goals are achieved.
- Manage, guide and support the development, implementation, and measurement of strategies that support Caterpillar’s Sustainable Development initiatives at the division level.
- Extensive experience leading EHS programs in a heavy manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Proven success implementing SIF prevention and Human & Organizational Performance frameworks.
- Experience developing and executing strategies for continuous improvement in all aspects of EHS.
- Deep knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and international regulatory frameworks.
- Degree in EHS, Sustainability, or related field.
- CSP, CHMM, etc. certifications.
