Community Support Services Manager

Lead our Home Care, Meals on Wheels, and Senior Transportation teams to help seniors stay safe, independent, and healthy ervise direct care staff and volunteers and ensure smooth service delivery.

• Hire and supervise direct care staff (recruiting, interviewing, orientation, training, evaluations)
• build weekly schedules
• assign new clients and communicate changes
• answer questions and document issues
• coordinate with the Assistant Executive Director
• grow private-pay and contracted services (outreach, follow-up, respond to inquiries)
• serve as point person with CCU and referral partners
• attend meetings and represent Family Service in the community

• Bachelor’s in human services/social work or related (or comparable experience)
• 3+ years management/supervisory experience (scheduling, technology, public relations)
• excellent communication/organizational skills
• ability to juggle priorities
• initiative and problem-solving
• cultural sensitivity

• Experience with seniors or direct service
• nonprofit or aging services experience

Background check required.

• $24.00–$26.00/hr, 37.5 hrs/week
• 12 paid holidays
• PTO after 90 days (up to 200 hrs)
• mileage reimbursement
