Printer Technician – Silgan Closures – Champaign, IL

Silgan Closures is hiring a Printer Technician for its Champaign, Illinois facility. This is a stable, long‑term opportunity in a clean, climate‑controlled production environment.

• Operate and monitor industrial printing machinery.
• Perform preventive maintenance on printing equipment.
• Ensure products meet quality control standards.
• Monitor ink supply systems and cap/material supply functions.
• Complete production and maintenance documentation.
• Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP and food safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe and efficient manufacturing workspace.
• Communicate with maintenance teams and production staff.

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of printing, machine operator or manufacturing experience.
• Strong understanding of production process and equipment maintenance.
• Ability to meet quality, safety and production standards.

12‑hour rotating shift. Week1:
Mon–Tue on, Wed–Thu off, Fri–Sun on. Week2:
Mon–Tue off, Wed–Thu on, Fri–Sun off. No mandatory overtime; optional overtime with attendance incentives.

Pay: $23.89 – $26.56 per hour, plus $1.00 per hour for night shift.
