Position Title
Warehouse Coordinator
LocationAssembly Drive, Rockford, IL 61109
Shift1st Shift, Monday – Friday 5 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Coordinate the scheduling of inbound shipments of components and raw materials.
- Maintain the daily schedule of inbound and outbound vehicles.
- Act as a liaison between the Warehouse and all other departments on transportation and logistics matters.
- Coordinate with the waste hauler for pickup of waste and recyclables.
- Coordinate with vendors to schedule forklift maintenance.
- Gather and track warehouse‑related metrics.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure proper segregation of recyclables.
- Act as a liaison between Receiving and Planning to keep components aligned with the production schedule.
- Assist in training the Warehouse department.
- Assist in writing or updating departmental work practices and company SOPs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.
- Work overtime and/or weekend work as required.
- Demonstrate knowledge and adherence to PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, and rules.
- Maintain attendance as an essential function.
- Required:
Skills testing at approved grade level for the position. - Basic mathematical skills.
- Basic computer skills: ability to perform basic computer tasks and operate common programs.
- Minimum professional proficiency: effective communication in listening, speaking, and reading.
- Intermediate reasoning: apply common sense to carry out written, oral, or diagram instructions.
- Preferred: ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.
- Preferred: ability to follow instructions and respond to management direction.
- Preferred: original thinking and creativity.
- Preferred: timely identification and resolution of problems.
- High School Diploma or GED and/or 1–3 months related experience or training.
Hiring rate for candidates in Illinois: $19.96–$22.46 per hour, plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including experience, education, credentials, geography, and subject matter expertise.
