Machine Maintenance Tech

Job Description

We are currently partnering with multiple clients in the Chicagoland area that are seeking experienced industrial Maintenance Technicians!

• Direct hire
• Pay range $30-$36/hr depending on experience
• Opportunities available on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift
• Full‑time benefits available including 401(k), health insurance, PTO, etc.
• Core locations around Chicagoland area include Gurnee, Niles, Franklin Park, Elk Grove Village, Alsip, Lockport IL

• Proficient in working with a wide range of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Skilled in troubleshooting and making adjustments to PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems and HMI.
• Experienced in repairing and maintaining printing presses, hydraulic presses, conveyor systems, corrugators (corrugation machines), and precision machinery, including CNC equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to minimize production downtime.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, including 3‑phase and single‑phase motors as well as VFDs, to minimize production downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and equipment failures to maintain operational efficiency.

• Must have strong work tenure.
• Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance experience required.
• Previous experience in machinery or other related fields.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment.
• Ability to handle physical workload.
