Shifts A and B
**** Pay Level Range:
Starting at $28.05 to $40.10.
**** Applicants will be considered for, General Maintenance level openings.*
* ** Leveling is determined during the interview process based on skillset, knowledge, and experience.*
* ** ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Include, but are not limited to the following)
*** Provide maintenance support with moderate supervision to ensure the safe and effective operation of equipment and team.
* Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment.
* Conduct emergency mechanical or electrical repairs as needed.
* Troubleshoot issues related to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
* Safely apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned production equipment.
* Effectively interact with all plant personnel to accomplish plant and individual goals.
* Minimize downtime due to equipment failure.
* Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
** REQUIREMENTS:

* Education and Experience:

** Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in industrial maintenance and Reliability in a high-speed manufacturing environment.  Must have electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills and experience documented on the work history section of the application or in the resume, or be a graduate of a 2-year industrial maintenance training program (vocational or trade school)

SKILLS:

* ** Computer

Skills:

** Basic computer skills necessary for logging information, processing daily work orders, and completing required documentation. Ability to learn and utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
* ** Communication

Skills:

** Effective communication and basic math skills required.
* Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs. occasionally; ability to lift 20 lbs. frequently.
* Ability to stand on a hard surface for up to 12 hours per day.
* Ability to work in confined and tall spaces, walk, climb, utilize a ladder, operate a lift, bend, and stoop.
* Repetitive gripping, pushing, and pulling.
* Frequent overhead work.
* Temperatures inside the plant may vary from 20 degrees to 36 degrees; outside work may also be needed.
* Basic math skills, including percentages, fractions, and measurements.

Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson Foods will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.
