Macon, GA / 1st shift
What You’ll Do:- Set up and operate press brake machinery to bend, form, and shape metal components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Select and install appropriate tooling and dies for each job.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure products meet quality standards and make necessary adjustments as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and problem‑solve issues related to production and machinery.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Complete production reports and documentation accurately.
- Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator in a manufacturing setting.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of press brake machinery and tooling.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations and measurements with precision.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high‑quality work.
- Familiarity with different types of metals and their properties.
- Basic maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
