- Operate production equipment in a fermentation process
- Comply with all policies and procedures
- Meet quality and production expectations
- Support and comply with all safety and environmental training policies and programs
- Effectively operate all current and future equipment / job functions in the area assigned
- Adjust equipment with assistance
- Use computerized operator interface to monitor and make adjustments to critical equipment
- Perform minor equipment maintenance
- Complete required documentation
- Clean, sterilize and operate fermenters and filtration equipment
- Perform in-process testing
- Follow VBC ISO
9001 quality standards
- High school diploma or GED
- Prefer a 2-year technical degree or related experience
- Must be able to use computerized interfaces
- Must be able to obtain an industrial truck license (require valid driver’s license)
Demonstrates proficiency in operating production equipment within a fermentation process, adhering to quality standards and safety protocols. Capable of using computerized interfaces for monitoring and adjustments, while performing maintenance and documentation tasks.
