The starting hourly wage for this role is $37.69

Shift Premium of $.75/hron 2nd shift

Hourly Bonus Program

Work Schedule:

• Flexible scheduling, 8-hour workday, 5-6 days a week, withpossible overtime.
• 2nd Shift (3pm-11pm):
  Tuesday-Saturday
• Employees must have weekend availability.
• Employees may work weekends and holidays.

Job Overview:

Utilities Operators are responsible forthe safe operation and routine maintenance of the plant's utility systems that support continuous production. Will beworkingwith steam boilers, ammonia refrigeration equipment, air compressors, cooling towers, all HVAC equipment, and Freon systems.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Operateboilers, ammonia refrigerationsystemand compressed air system.
• The safe and efficient operation of boilers,air conditioningcompressors,condenser sand all other equipment associated withthe Utilities department.
• Perform the duties of the Utilities department consistent with plant policy and standards with respect to product quality, GMPs and safety.
• Monitor fire alarm panel, coordinate response team.
• Ammonia evacuation.
• Operate and maintain chilled water system.
• Monitorchemical treatment for cooling towers and boiler water.
• Preventive maintenance on all equipment associated with the Utilities department (i.e., air compressors,pumps, air handler filters, cooler equipment, air handlers, steam system).
• Disassemble, clean, inspect,repairand reassemble all equipment associated with the Utilities department.
• Ammonia,HVACand all refrigeration controls.
• Utilities stockroom.
• Exhaust fans (building).
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Position may include quality checks, including but not limited to, GMP, HACCP, andtempchart calibrations.
• Know, understand, andcomply with Kraft Food's Environmental Policy.
• Reduce Kraft's Environmental footprint.

Qualifications:

• Steam Boiler operation and refrigeration backgrounda plus. Minimum of fouryears experience.
• Must understand and have basic knowledge of the refrigeration and air conditioning cycle.
• Thorough knowledge of boiler control instrumentation devices including pressure gauges and transmitting devices, flow meters, temperature gauges and transmitters, combustion control, feedwatercontroland safety Devices.
• License in Freon refrigeration repaira plus
• Ability to gain freon refrigeration license for useon all window units, cabinet coolers, water fountains,andall main plantfreon refrigeration units.
• Must be able to pass a respirator fit test.
