CCHS has an open full-time salaried position for a Foster-care Coordinator.
About the role- develop and facilitate volunteer foster-care programs (medical, behavioral, foster-to-adopt, dog-day-out/overnight)
- recruit and train volunteers
- create protocols and training materials
- coordinate with medical team
- schedule outings and document behavior/photos
- support events with Adoption Staff and Event Coordinator
- maintain forms and handbooks
- animal handling and dog training
- experience training/supervising volunteers or teams
- customer service and communication
- project management and organization
- required: experience working or volunteering in an animal shelter
- full-time salaried ($36,000–$42,000)
- paid holidays/sick leave/generous PTO
- health/dental/vision insurance
