Overview
The RN, in the ambulatory setting utilizes a systematic approach by incorporating assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in the practice of nursing. Provides healthcare to individuals, families, and communities within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Illinois Board of Nursing. The patient population consists of individuals experiencing substance use and psychiatric conditions.
Qualifications- Certifications:
Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR);
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA) - Education:
College Diploma:
Nursing (Required)
- Provides and facilitates competent health care of patients and families within area of practice.
- Ensures adherence to established standards of care and scope of practice.
- Ensures documentation of care is complete and accurate.
- Assists leadership in development of departmental standing orders and PI.
- Administers medication.
- Provides patient education.
- Provides health and wellness education to individuals and groups related to substance use and abuse, as well as recovery.
- Provides nursing input for initiatives designed to improve the quality of care or clinical outcomes within Addiction Recovery service delivery.
The compensation range for this position is $30.39 per hour - $52.27 per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
