Role Overview:LNT Health is seeking an experienced and compassionateDirector of Nursing (DON)to lead our Home Health team in Lemont, IL. The Director of Nursing will oversee all clinical operations, ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care, and maintain compliance with regulations. This leadership role requires strong management skills, clinical expertise, and a commitment to fostering a positive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and direction to the nursing staff, ensuring excellence in patient care.
• Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Oversee patient care plans, assessments, and clinical outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Monitor compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards.
• Provide training, mentorship, and performance management for nursing staff.
• Manage budgets, staffing, and operational needs within the department.
• Act as a liaison between nursing staff, physicians, and patients.

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong background in home health care.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Comprehensive understanding of regulatory compliance and quality assurance.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team.
