Day-to-day responsibilities for the Emergency Room RN include rapid triage, stabilization, trauma and stroke alerts, chest-pain protocols, safe medication administration, evidence-based practice, patient and family education, throughput optimization, and contribution to a friendly, diverse, and inclusive nursing team that champions shared governance and continuous improvement.
