CCHS has an open full-time position on the Medical Care staff. This position involves examination and monitoring of animals for health and wellness; administering treatments and medications to shelter animals; fecal analysis; basic cytologies, etc. Hours will include weekend days, some evenings, and some holidays. Starting pay is $16.50/hour.

• Experience handling dogs and cats in a veterinary setting
• Experience with other small animals, a plus, but not required
• Experience with animal restraint, a plus, but not required
• Good communication skills (in person and in writing)
• Good customer service skills recommended
• Accurate data entry/computer skills required
• Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail
