Agriculture Quality Assurance Lead

While all location employees have seed quality and a major component of their jobs, the QA Lead is the common link that helps to ensure that our customers are pleased with the quality of the seed we produce.

• Processes bulk seed samples to determine predicted seed sizing and conversion
• Visually inspect all finished seed lots to ensure acceptable seed appearance
• Processes and submits samples for quality lab analysis
• Works with warehouse employees to probe carryover seed according to customer requests
• Monitors finished crop quality results and initiates actions with location managers when problems are noted.
• Initiating and releasing "SEED ON HOLD" within location warehouses and inventory systems
• Maintaining a neat, clean, and organized work area

• Agricultural background is beneficial
• Computer skills required, advanced skills preferred
• Understanding of seed production or minimum of four years of related experience
• Excellent communications skills with positive attitude
• Attentive to detail and accuracy
• Well organized
