Property Management & Leasing
Have you ever walked into a property and immediately noticed things that could be better?
A light that's been out too long. A maintenance issue nobody followed up on. A vacant unit sitting longer than it should. A resident who just wants someone to call them back.
If you're the type of person who takes ownership, solves problems, and believes details matter, we want to talk with you.
We're looking for a Property Manager to oversee approximately 245 apartment units across multiple communities in the Champaign-Urbana area. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can balance people, properties, operations, and customer service while keeping things moving forward.
You won't be buried in corporate bureaucracy. You'll have the ability to make an impact, solve problems, and help create communities that residents are proud to call home.
What You'll Be Doing- Oversee the day-to-day operation of multiple apartment communities

- Monitor occupancy and leasing activity to keep communities performing well
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure work orders and property issues are addressed promptly
- Conduct property inspections and identify opportunities for improvement

- Track budgets, expenses, and property performance
- Work with vendors and contractors when needed
- Ensure properties remain clean, safe, and well-maintained
- Lead by example and create a culture of accountability and customer service
- Previous property management, apartment management, housing, hospitality, or related experience
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a variety of personalities
- Someone who takes ownership and follows through
- Organized and able to manage multiple priorities at the same time
- Problem solver who stays calm under pressure
- Comfortable using technology, email, and property management software
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- You don't wait for someone else to fix problems.
- You communicate clearly and follow up.
- You care about residents and customer service.
- You can have difficult conversations when necessary.
- You take pride in a property looking its best.
- You know how to balance people, priorities, and performance.
Because your work matters.
The condition of the property, the experience of the residents, the performance of the community, and the success of the team are all influenced by strong leadership. If you're looking for a role where you can make a visible impact every day, we'd love to talk with you.
