Hiring:
Research Associate III – Medical Device R&D
Duration: 12 Months Contract
We are looking for a Research Associate III to support biomaterials and medical device product development through laboratory research, experimental design, process improvement, and scale-up activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct routine and non-routine laboratory experiments
- Develop and improve experimental methods and procedures
- Work with pH, temperature-controlled reactions, and chemical processes
- Support biomaterial development from lab scale to manufacturing
- Evaluate technical feasibility and manufacturability
- Design experiments and analyze/validate results
- Support GxP, QSR, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Regulatory teams
- BS in a scientific discipline with 3–6 years relevant experience OR MS with 1–2 years experience
- Strong laboratory and experimental design experience
- Experience with biomaterials and chemical/material science applications
- Knowledge of FDA-regulated medical devices (
Class II / 510(k) / PMA
) preferred - Lyophilization / freeze-drying experience is highly preferred
