Overview
Domino's Pizza is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Manager to join our team at our 1803 W KIRBY AVE location in Champaign, United States. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store, delivering exceptional customer service, and leading a team of employees.
Responsibilities- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Manage and motivate team members to achieve performance goals
- Ensure high-quality food preparation and timely delivery
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Assist in inventory management and supply ordering
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures
- Assist in training and developing new team members
- Manage cash handling and financial transactions
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to improve store performance and customer satisfaction
- Participate in marketing initiatives and local community engagement efforts
- Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced food service or retail environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent customer service orientation
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-pressure environment
- Proficiency in math and problem-solving
- Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Positive attitude and team player mentality
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Food safety certification (preferred)
- Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills
- What are we looking for?
- Experience leading a team; you will manage a staff of 3 to 30 people and use motivational skills to keep the team productive and engaged.
- A clean driving record and the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record check. You must have reliable, insured transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- A strong role model with punctuality, positive attitude toward customers and co-workers, and high personal standards.
- Our stores are open 365 days a year. You should be willing to work when the team needs you most, including weekends and holidays.
- You must be at least 18 years old.
