Merchandise and Stocking Associate

Position Summary

Do you like to work on your feet and keep things neat and organized? Our merchandising & stocking associates connect all of the dots to make sure members can find everything they need. From everyday needs to special occasions, members rely on you as their mini tour guide to find that special product. Depending on the shift, your job may include moving inventory in the backroom, unloading trucks, fulfilling club pick‑up orders or helping members while stocking shelves.

The role is fast‑paced and physically demanding – it’s like being paid to go to the gym! You’ll be part of a great team dedicated to helping members find more of what they love, for less.

• Handle boxes and other heavy objects weighing more than 25 pounds safely.
• Promptly unload trucks and assist fellow associates throughout the store.
• Sort and stock products on shelves and in the backroom, setting up and maintaining product displays.
• Engage with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and member‑ready area.

Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, offering guidance on self‑service technology, helping with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting company products.

Maintains safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling hazardous materials properly, and reporting unsafe situations.

Maintains the sales floor and merchandise presentation by zoning the area, stocking, arranging, cleaning, and organizing displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise, and identifying shrink.

Monitors food and merchandise quality, ensuring proper rotation, code‑dating, recalls, sanitation standards, and prominent display of promotional items.

Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, using the Open Door Policy and applying ethical practices.

Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers and coworkers, setting priorities, communicating progress, recommending improvements, and learning from feedback.

Ensures club pick‑up orders are filled by assisting with picking and staging orders according to company policy.

• Minimum years of experience in retail or a related field

• Must be 18 years or older

• Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods

• Good communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude

• Experience with inventory management systems

• Familiarity with safety and sanitation regulations

• Willingness to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays

Hourly wage range: $17.00 to $25.00*
