Position: (USA) Freight Flow Associate

Position Summary

Salary: $20.00 - $28.00/hr* (additional premiums may be paid at $0.35 to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances).
Schedule: Full time, shifts may vary.

This role operates at a Sam's Club location, performing a variety of warehouse and floor duties including forklift operation, inventory management, product merchandising, and member service.

What You'll Do
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, and implement action plans using the Open Door Policy.
  • Operate forklift and pallet jacks safely, picking up, moving, placing, and positioning merchandise pallets.
  • Complete work assignments and priorities using company data, resources, and collaboration with managers, coworkers, and customers.
  • Receive stocks and organize merchandise and supplies, managing inventory flow, correcting shelf capacities, and maintaining required paperwork.
  • Provide member service, acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting with purchases, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting company products.
  • Maintain safety of the facility through safety sweeps, forklift spotting procedures, hazardous material handling, and reporting unsafe conditions.
  • Maintain the sales floor and merchandising presentation, zoning, stocking, rotating, and removing damaged or out‑of‑date goods; set up displays and ensure promotional and seasonal merchandise is prominently displayed.
  • Ensure club pick‑up orders are filled, assisting with picking and staging to meet company policy and timelines; perform occasional audits for accuracy.
  • Control inventory levels, track goods, and report poor inventory practices and low in‑stock levels; use inventory tools safely.
  • Operate and maintain forklifts safely, report unsafe conditions, and inform management when equipment is not in proper working order.
  • Proactively engage customers who need help with technology services and items; model assistance, identify shrink opportunities, and resolve issues promptly.
  • Demonstrate respect for individuals by embracing diversity, building teamwork, mentoring others, and embodying Walmart values.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 90 days of prior forklift experience with forklift certification.
  • Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Customer Service Experience.
  • Retail Experience.
  • Experience supervising a team.

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly wage range: $20.00 to $28.00 with additional premiums as noted. Health benefits include medical, vision, and dental coverage.
