Overview
Looking for a dynamic and results‑driven professional to generate new business and manage existing client relationships within a designated territory. The role involves actively seeking out new sales opportunities, providing excellent customer service, and achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities- Business Development:
- Identify and prospect for new clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and industry events.
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve or exceed sales goals.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and new product opportunities.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long‑lasting customer relationships.
- Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions to meet specific requirements.
- Regularly visit existing clients to ensure satisfaction, address concerns, and identify additional sales opportunities.
- Sales Process Management:
- Present, promote, and sell products/services to prospective and existing customers.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of sale.
- Follow up on leads and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Process orders and ensure smooth delivery and post‑sales support.
- Reporting and Administration:
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of all sales activities in a CRM system.
- Prepare regular sales reports, including sales forecasts, activity logs, and pipeline status.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, customer service, product development) to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings, sales training, and company events.
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Skills and Qualifications- Associate degree in Marketing, Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 4-7 years of experience in industrial sales or a similar sales role.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Self‑motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM software.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, drive, lift and carry product samples, marketing materials, or equipment as needed.
Associate degree.
Experience4–7 years in a similar sales role.
Compensation and BenefitsBase salary plus commission with strong growth potential after the first year. Benefits package included.
