Follett Content Solutions helps build a diverse collection of print and digital resources to support every student. We are currently hiring for a Business Development Rep.
This position is a non-exempt full-time position located in McHenry, IL. The pay for this position is $20 per hour which is equivalent to $41,600 annually along with bonus eligibility. We offer a hybrid work schedule with 3 days in the office (Monday, Tuesday & Thursday) and 2 remote days (Wednesday & Friday).
About the Role- As a Sales Development Consultant, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and qualifying new business opportunities.
- You will work closely with the sales team to develop and execute strategies to increase sales and market share.
- Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to generate new leads, build strong relationships with clients, and close deals.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities through research and outreach.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
- Collaborate with the sales team to build strong relationships with clients.
- Manage and maintain a pipeline of leads and opportunities.
- Close deals and achieve sales targets.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in sales or business development.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in the technology industry.
- Experience with CRM software.
- MBA or advanced degree in a related field.
- Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and close deals.
- Maintain high level of organization and manage a pipeline of leads and opportunities.
- Strategic thinking and execution of sales strategies.
- Proficiency in CRM software and experience in the technology industry will be beneficial.
