Trane Technologies is seeking a Rental Account Manager to play a pivotal role in driving the development and expansion of our temporary solutions (rental) business. The position requires a blend of sales acumen, technical understanding, and customer service excellence to help grow our emergency and non‑emergency rental markets.

What You Will Do- Develop and close sales opportunities to grow emergency response rentals, cooling contingency plans, and expand into non‑emergency markets such as planned, seasonal and special events rentals.
- Create and design accurate and timely technical solutions based on the customer’s temporary needs and specifications from our existing rental equipment offering.
- Develop rental quotes from initial request to proposal, including rental equipment quotes to complete turn‑key solution proposals.
- Work with Rental Services teams and help develop and coordinate vertical market strategies for temporary solutions in your assigned market.
- Coordinate shipments and returns to and from jobs in conjunction with the Rental Services fulfillment team.
- Travel to customer job sites as required, which may include outdoor work and/or work in mechanical/equipment rooms. During site visits, the employee may be exposed to variable weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, heights, and other environmental conditions based on location.
- 2‑5 years of sales experience.
- Practical experience and relevant skills are prioritized.
- Valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations in the previous 3 years.
