This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role based at Flora Gems’ Champaign, IL location. The Salesperson will greet customers, understand their needs, and guide them in selecting fine jewelry that aligns with their preferences and budget. Responsibilities include presenting product features, answering questions, processing sales transactions, and maintaining accurate records in the point‑of‑sale system. The role also involves keeping displays organized, assisting with inventory checks, and supporting store promotions and events.

The Salesperson will collaborate with team members to ensure a welcoming store atmosphere and consistently deliver high-quality customer service.

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport and communicate clearly with a diverse range of clients.
• Sales and retail experience, preferably in jewelry, luxury goods, or related fields, with comfort in consultative selling and meeting sales goals.
• Attention to detail and basic math skills for handling transactions, sizing, pricing, and accurate record‑keeping.
• Professional presentation and reliability, with the ability to stand for extended periods and work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Comfort with learning product details and educating customers on materials, care, and value of fine jewelry.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a small team environment and follow established store policies and procedures.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in retail, sales, or jewelry is a plus.
• Prior experience in a family‑owned or customer‑focused business environment is beneficial.
