• Prepare soil samples for a wide variety of testing procedures, following outlined methodologies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Operate and maintain scientific equipment/instrumentation.
• Document activities and report results accurately and concisely.
• Assist group leaders and analysts in ordering and inventorying consumables, chemicals, and parts for instrumentation.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of laboratory equipment and work areas.
• Model our core value of safety by enabling a culture in which you are actively contributing to a safe work environment.
• Other duties as required.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of previous experience working in an environmental laboratory is preferred.
• Willingness and ability to work night shift (schedule hours fall between 6 pm-8 am; variable hours worked per week depending on business need).

The salary range for this role, in Champaign, IL location, is between $15.00 - $20.00. While we provide this range as general guidance, several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, candidate skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, work location, and other business and organizational needs. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.
