Full‑Time Loss Prevention Officer

• Identify and apprehend shoplifters through floor patrol and CCTV.
• Report writing.
• Interacting with local law enforcement as needed.
• Provide courtroom testimony as required.

• Pre‑employment criminal background check and drug screening.
• Must obtain state‑required PERC prior to employment.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3–4 hours at a time.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• Ability to communicate clearly and accurately through verbal and written means.
• Ability to write legible, accurate, and easily understood reports.
• Must be assertive, yet controlled, in dealing with confrontation.
• Must be trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervision.
• Attendance for scheduled shifts; tardiness and absenteeism are not tolerated.
• Previous loss prevention or law‑enforcement experience is a plus but not required.
• Criminal justice or related studies is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent (minimum).
