Pay of $34.73 per hour, plus $8.50/hr AP premium for AP licenses. Opportunities for overtime and shift premiums. This role is part of a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA); pay, schedules, and other job details are set through the agreement with the labor union.

Work schedules are based on seniority and may include early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays. Mandatory overtime may be required to support flight operations; however, there are opportunities to trade shifts and find a schedule that works for you.

Responsibilities- Perform mechanical work generally recognized as mechanic duties including checks, dismantling, overhauling, repairing, fabricating, assembling, welding, erecting, and painting all parts of aircraft, aircraft engines, radio equipment, instruments, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems.
- Work in company shops, maintenance bases, and maintenance stations.
- Collaborate with Technical Operations and Airport Teams to keep the schedule running smoothly.
- Perform other duties as directed by leaders, serving internal and external customers.
- Read and comprehend maintenance procedures, manuals, wire diagrams, blueprints, AP Change Orders, special items, and log write-ups.
- Follow instructions, rules, and regulations; write accurate summaries of work performed on required forms.
- Use computer-based training modules effectively.
- Meet all training requirements in a timely manner.
- Recognize hazardous situations and respond to emergencies.
- Work well in a fast‑paced environment under specific deadlines to meet flight schedules.
- Collaborate with team members and work under stressful situations.
- Maintain alertness to moving vehicles or aircraft; use radio equipment effectively.
- Communicate information and instructions in writing, verbally, or via radio.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum two years of Aircraft Maintenance Experience, including one year of Heavy Jet Aircraft Maintenance Experience (12,500 lbs or more).
- Must meet recency requirements under CFR 65.83 (actively working with AP license for at least 6 of the preceding 24 months). Candidates without recent experience may be assigned an AMT classification under supervision for six months and required to attend additional training.
- Valid U.S. Driver's License.
- Valid Federal AP Certificates as required by Federal Law.
- Perform job functions within cramped and confined spaces and hazardous areas.
- Lift and move items up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop frequently and for extended periods.
- Maintain a well‑groomed appearance as per company standards.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Comply with company attendance standards.
- Possess tools required for routine aircraft maintenance.
- Work rotating shifts, holidays, and overtime.
Pay Rate: $34.73 per hour.
Pay amount does not guarantee employment for any particular period of time.
401(k) match contributions are subject to the plan’s vesting schedule and applicable IRS limits. Profit sharing contributions are subject to the plan’s vesting schedule and are discretionary.
