This full-time position starts August 12th, 2026 and runs through November 4th, 2026, with the possibility to extend. You'll work with K-5th grade students, supporting their social, emotional, and academic growth during regular school hours, onsite only.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois School Social Worker License and PEL required
  • Prior school-based social work experience strongly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organization skills
  • Passion for supporting young learners and collaborating with families and staff

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct social, emotional, and behavioral support to elementary students
  • Develop and implement intervention strategies and individual plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to foster student success
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with district and state standards
  • Participate in IEP/504 meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
