Your Responsibilities
As a Software Engineering - Part Time Student for John Deere World Headquarters located in Champaign, IL, you will:
- Develop and implement technical solutions to deliver on User Stories
- Assist in resolution of IT technical issues in the product team
- Establish and implement CI/CD pipelines. Develop automated test scripts
- Work on a product team and support product design by planning its work, coordinating with others, and writing and testing code to deliver moderately complex functionality
This position is not available to students on immigration visas
What Skills You Need- Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Others may apply.
- Experience with 1 or more programming languages; preferably Java or Java Script
- Experience working with relational databases
- Ability to work 16-20 hours during the academic year
- Ability to work 30-40 hours during the summer semester
- Graduation Date May 2027 or later
- Experience with React
JS/NodeJS/Java - Experience developing and consuming APIs
- Experience with SQL, databases, and schema design
Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in:
- Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Others may apply.

$15 - $40 hourly based on published rates for business function and education level.
