Job Description

We are seeking experienced Software Engineers for a 6‑month contract‑to‑hire opportunity serving a client in Central Illinois. This remote role requires strong software development expertise.

Job Duties

• Design, develop and implement enterprise‑level applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code adhering to best practices and coding standards.

Job Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing applications and websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript libraries, Java/OpenJDK v11+, C#.
• Extensive experience building RESTful APIs and working with microservices architecture.
• Strong knowledge of OOP and design patterns; solid understanding of relational databases (SQL).
• Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and performance‑tuning tools.
• Full SDLC ownership from requirements gathering and design to deployment and maintenance.
• Experience with Azure Dev Ops for code management and governance.
• Ability to contribute to system architecture and design scalable solutions.
• Interest in utilizing GenAI tools and frameworks for development efficiency.

Must be able to communicate effectively in English (written & verbal), have permanent authorization to work in the USA, and are not considering corp‑to‑corp candidates.

Pay Range
35–65 USD per hour (depending on experience, location, and skills).
