Principal, AI Transformation

Most enterprise AI investments stall not because the technology isn't ready, but because the strategy never connects to outcomes, the process never changes, and adoption never takes hold. Launch exists to close that gap.

As a Principal, AI Transformation, you'll be at the center of Launch's most strategic client relationships. You'll lead complex AI transformation engagements from sales conversation through delivery, helping F1000 organizations move from AI experimentation to measurable business value. This means owning the client, shaping the commercial opportunity, and driving the people, process, and operating model change that makes AI adoption stick.

This is a consulting-first role. You bring executive presence, financial rigor, and the ability to tell a compelling transformation story to a CFO and a CEO in the same breath. You understand the Microsoft, AWS, GCP, and Anthropic ecosystems well enough to speak with architects and evaluate platform fit, but you're not the one building the platform. You've experimented with agentic tools and can prototype a workflow or agent to validate a concept, but your primary value is shaping strategy and driving outcomes.

• Lead and advance AI transformation opportunities from first conversation through proposal, SOW, and close. This role is expected to both originate and convert pipeline
• Develop compelling proposals, business cases, and commercial constructs that connect AI investment to P&L-level outcomes
• Build and maintain executive‑level client relationships that generate repeat business and referrals
• Contribute to Launch's market presence through thought leadership, industry events, and go‑to‑market content
• Partner with practice leaders and account teams to shape pursuit strategy on strategic opportunities

• Lead AI opportunity assessments and use‑case prioritization frameworks grounded in measurable business value: cost reduction, revenue impact, productivity uplift, or risk reduction
• Build financial models that quantify the ROI of AI adoption and make the investment case credible at the board level
• Define AI roadmaps that move clients from proof‑of‑concept to enterprise‑scale adoption, with clear milestones and accountability
• Apply Launch's Strategy → Transform → Scale → Run methodology to structure engagements with clear outcomes at each phase

• Redesign workflows and operating models to embed AI, including agentic AI, into core business processes, not as a bolt‑on but as a fundamental change in how work gets done
• Define the "director and verifier" model: how employees redirect their effort toward oversight, judgment, and decision‑making as agents take on execution tasks
• Establish AI Center of Excellence (CoE) structures, governance frameworks, and change accountability to sustain adoption beyond the initial engagement
• Measure and report on adoption outcomes with the same rigor applied to financial results

• Lead organizational change programs that build AI fluency, shift mindsets, and drive behavioral change at every level of the organization
• Design enablement programs, from executive workshops to front‑line training, that accelerate adoption and reduce time‑to‑value
• Manage stakeholder resistance and navigate organizational politics with credibility and empathy

• Serve as senior engagement leader across complex, multi‑workstream programs spanning strategy, process redesign, platform integration, and adoption
• Partner with Launch's Platforms and AI SDLC practices to bring integrated solutions to clients
• Mentor and develop junior consultants, building the next generation of AI transformation talent within Launch
• Develop Launch's methodologies, frameworks, and reusable assets to scale the practice

• 10‑15 years of management consulting, digital transformation, or in‑house enterprise transformation experience, with a clear track record of owning client relationships and delivering complex programs end to end
