The company is currently building out a brand-new, state-of-the-art office located in a premier tech and innovation hub in Champaign, Illinois. We are seeking exceptional Test Automation Engineers / SDETs who are passionate about delivering technical excellence through robust automation frameworks.

responsibilities:
- Take full technical ownership of automation test suites and quality assurance strategies for highly complex software projects from start to finish.
- Design, build, and execute robust, scalable testing frameworks using Cucumber to validate complex business logic.
- Work hand-in-hand with developers, business analysts, and end-users to deeply understand business domains and ensure technical applications meet true operational needs.
- Challenge existing systems, processes, and architectures to drive technical excellence and innovation within the engineering ecosystem.
- Exercise high autonomy, ownership, and judgment to proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex software bottlenecks at pace.
- Primary Framework:
Cucumber (Hands-on, deep expertise is required) - Methodologies: SDET, Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), Test Automation Engineering
- Core
Languages:
Object-Oriented Programming (C#/.NET, Java, or Python) - Databases: SQL Databases
- Cloud Infrastructure: AWS or Azure
- Proven, hands-on experience developing and maintaining test automation frameworks utilizing Cucumber.
- Strong object-oriented programming skills (C#/.NET, Java, or Python) and a solid understanding of software engineering principles.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a strictly related quantitative field.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3 / 4.0 (or international equivalent).
- Ability to work 100% onsite in Champaign, IL, and relocate prior to starting.
