CDL - Truck Driver

Job Overview

Richards Building Supply Co. is currently searching for a CDL Class B Driver for our Champaign, IL location.

• Safely deliver products to job sites.
• Physically unload material per the customer's request.
• Receive materials in the warehouse, load trucks, and process inventory.
• Unload shingles on one‑ and two‑story homes.
• Load trucks with material scheduled for the day’s deliveries, complying with DOT regulations on weight limits and securing.
• Unload trucks and receive merchandise at the warehouse.
• Move materials and items from receiving to its designated area.

• CDL Class B license with Air Brake Endorsement, or CDL Class A license.
• 1 year CDL Class B delivery driving experience, or 2 years CDL Class A driving experience.
• Moffett and/or knuckle boom/crane operating experience preferred.
• OSHA Certified crane experience highly desired.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission.
• Current DOT medical card.
• Clean driving record.
• Must be at least 23 years of age.
• Heavy lifting experience.
• Must pass a background check and pre‑employment DOT drug screen.
• Must be able to continually lift 50–100 lbs. of material throughout the day; some lifting over 100 lbs. will be required.
