Role Description The Front Desk Receptionist is an on-site role based in Champlin, MN. This position is responsible for greeting patients, checking them in and out, and ensuring a welcoming, efficient front desk experience. Daily tasks include answering and directing phone calls, scheduling and confirming appointments, managing patient intake forms, and maintaining accurate records. The role also involves handling basic clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and processing payments, while coordinating with clinical staff to support smooth patient flow.
The receptionist serves as a primary point of contact for patients, providing clear information about appointments, clinic procedures, and services.
Qualifications
- Strong receptionist and front desk skills, including experience with Receptionist Duties and managing patient check-in/check-out.
- Proficient Phone Etiquette and Communication skills to handle calls, inquiries, and patient interactions professionally.
- Solid Customer Service skills with a patient-centered approach and ability to create a welcoming environment.
- Reliable Clerical Skills, including scheduling, data entry, filing, and basic computer proficiency (EMR experience a plus).
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and maintain accuracy in a busy clinical setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior medical or wellness clinic front desk experience is preferred.
- Comfort working in a natural health care environment and willingness to learn about clinic services.
