Duties:

• Assist Director with tryouts, play rehearsals and performances
• Attend rehearsals 2 days a week (3:20-5:20), auditions, dress rehearsals, and performances
• Play an active role with casting, directing, supervising, organizing, managing behavior, and helping out where needed during auditions, rehearsals, and performances
• Prepare as needed for productive rehearsals; for example, become familiar with the script and create plans for portions of rehearsals
• If more than one rehearsal is missed for any reason, work with head director to schedule a day to make it up
• Prioritize creating a meaningful experience for each student where they can develop important life skills, find a sense of belonging, and feel proud of their show
• Music, dance, and/or acting experience strongly preferred

15 rehearsals; 3 audition days; 4 dress rehearsals; performances about 14 hours; approximately 5 hours prep
