Student Achievement Advisor
Full-Time - 40 hours/week
FTE: 1.0
Duties:Attendance and participation at site-level meetings, district-level meetings, district-wide staff development, and/or trainings related to the position. Attendance and participation on the site School Improvement Planning (SIP) Team, site Response to Intervention (RIT) Team, and Building Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) Team. Participate in school activities such as, but not limited to, Student-Family-Teacher Conferences, Arts and Academic Celebrations, and other school-sponsored events.
Participate in student non-instructional time by maintaining an active presence in the cafeteria (breakfast and lunch), hallways (before and after school), during passing times, and ilitate and participate in meetings with individual students and student groups to foster belonging, strengthen student voice, and support the success of students from diverse backgrounds, identities, experiences, and cultures. Meet with the site administrative team, principal, and/or principal's designee as needed.
Develop and coordinate peer leadership programming at the site and district levels. Monitor data aligned with site and district School Improvement Planning (SIP) goals. Act as a liaison between school and home for students and families from diverse backgrounds. Assist with new student transitions. Refer students and families to appropriate school personnel for services and supports beyond the scope of the Student Achievement Advisor position.
Perform other duties as assigned in relation to what's best for the building to provide healthy student outcomes
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or combination of education and related experience to equal 12 years. Good written and oral communication skills. Ability to work closely with parents, staff, administration, and community. Fluency in a language other than English desired. Ability to maintain regular attendance, including completing an assigned day. Ability to work in a team setting, flexibility, and willingness to participate in job-related training.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds. Ability to perform position responsibilities including physical factors, work devices and materials handling, data functions, and people functions. Must be physically working in the building/on site.
Salary:
$49,288 to $57,479 annually
$49,627 to $57,888 annually;
Salary with BA
$50,955 to $60,936 annually;
Salary with MA
Start Date: 8/31/26.
