We are looking for a Veterinary Assistant to become part of our team. Veterinary Assistants are essential in ensuring excellent patient care during outpatient visits or surgical procedures. Responsibilities include coordinating and implementing treatment plans, assisting during examinations and procedures, collaborating with doctors and technicians, and providing comprehensive client education and inquiry handling with professionalism and empathy.
ResponsibilitiesYou will work closely with your team to ensure smooth appointments and procedures. This role is ideal for detail-oriented individuals who enjoy engaging with clients and maintaining an organized workflow in a fast-paced environment. The position is full-time with a 4/10s schedule and requires availability Monday‑Friday with rotating weekends, two Saturdays a month.
Full-time benefits and compensation- Compensation: $20‑$22 per hour for each hour worked
- Bonus package: $500 for those with 3+ years of consecutive, current VA experience

- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Safely restrain pets
- Obtain patient TPR
- Assist with nail trims
- Clear client communication
