Key Responsibilities
- Manage and own assigned sections of the monthly close process, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Process payroll and oversee vendor payments while ensuring compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate financial records and support financial reporting and audits
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution
- 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in an agency or fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
- Experience with Quick Books Online and payroll systems is preferred
- Progress toward CPA or CMA certification is a plus
