As an Audit Supervisor
, you will take a hands‑on leadership role in client engagements, serving as a key link between partners, clients, and audit staff. This is a step beyond Senior‑level responsibilities and ideal for someone ready to supervise engagements and mentor teams.
- Lead and manage audit, review, and compilation engagements from planning through completion
- Serve as the primary client contact on assigned engagements
- Apply strong knowledge of GAAP and financial statement presentation
- Research and resolve accounting and audit‑related issues
- Review work papers and financial statements prepared by staff and seniors
- Supervise, train, and mentor audit team members
- Develop a deep understanding of each client's business operations
- Support additional accounting and advisory services as needed
- Primarily local travel within the Phoenix metro area
- 4–6 years of public accounting audit experience
- Active CPA license (or actively pursuing CPA license)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Master's degree in Accounting
- Prior experience acting as an in‑charge Senior or Supervisor
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Professional, dependable, and team‑oriented mindset
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines
