The growing Fiscal Operations Advisory practice is a collaborative group committed to providing superior client service through strong relationships and high‑value deliverables. We are currently seeking a Staff member to join our team. The Staff will provide outstanding service to our clients by delivering a variety of ongoing accounting and customer support services. This is a great opportunity for a critical thinker with strong communication skills to be an integral part of a successful and growing team.

• Perform operational, accounting, and consulting activities that include customer service support and problem resolution, accounts payable processing, expense report audit, and ongoing reporting and analysis.
• Prepare polished deliverables for clients and ensure timely client deliverables.
• Work collaboratively with clients to understand current business practices, identify opportunities for improvement, assist in defining new processes, and develop updated policies and procedures.
• Support project start‑up activities such as following project work plans, adhering to schedules, and attending kickoff meetings.
• Review own work for accuracy.
• Meet daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Serve as an integral member of the Fiscal Operations Advisory team.
• Occasionally travel to client locations, firm training sessions, or industry conferences.

• Associate’s degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience required.
• Experience in one or more of the following preferred: expense report audit, accounts payable processing, and/or financial accounting including account reconciliation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to provide first‑class customer service via email, phone, chat, helpdesk ticket system, etc.
• Critical thinker and creative problem‑solver with outstanding time, organization, and project‑management skills.
• Able to take direction, learn quickly, and work independently to meet project objectives.
• Able to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
• Able to handle multiple priorities, tasks, and simultaneous projects.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed.

Pay rate range for this position is $52,000 to $124,300. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of relevant factors including but not limited to applicant’s skills, prior experience, qualifications, degrees, professional certifications, work arrangements and geographic location. Baker Tilly offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package to eligible employees.
