Job Description & How to Apply Below

Faraday Copper is a growth oriented Canadian junior mining company focused on responsibly advancing our flagship development stage project in Arizona, through our subsidiary company, Redhawk Copper. With a highly energetic and collaborative team, we are committed to building a modern mining operation grounded in operational excellence, environmental stewardship, and strong community partnerships.

Faraday recently announced it has entered a letter of intent to acquire BHP’s San Manuel property in Arizona, creating the potential for a multi-asset copper district in the USA. As we transition from exploration to project development, we are seeking a strategic and hands‑on Finance Manager to build and lead our financial function in Arizona.

The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing all accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, treasury, tax, and internal control functions for project development. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, supports operational and project accounting activities, and provides financial insight to leadership to support exploration and development initiatives. The Finance Manager plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing cash flow, and supporting strategic decision‑making in a dynamic environment.

Primary

Responsibilities
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for the project, collaborating closely with operational teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting.
  • Monitor cash flow, treasury functions, and funding requirements for the project.
  • Maintain and improve internal controls, accounting and procurement procedures, and financial systems for the project.
  • Manage project and cost accounting for all development activities including drilling programs, technical studies, environmental baseline and permitting work, community relations, and land acquisition, ensuring appropriate capitalization versus expense treatment under applicable mining industry accounting standards.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for Redhawk Copper US entities in accordance with US GAAP, and support consolidation into Faraday Copper's IFRS parent financial statements in coordination with the Vancouver corporate finance team.
  • Assist corporate teams with financial planning, analysis, and strategic initiatives.
  • Prepare documentation for board meetings, investors, and regulatory filings.
  • Assist with coordinating annual audits and working with external auditors, consultants, and regulatory agencies.
  • Support US tax return preparation and analysis.
  • Develop and maintain a project cost tracking and reporting framework that provides operational managers and corporate leadership with timely, accurate visibility into budget versus actual performance across all active work streams.
  • Oversee daily accounting operations for the project and Arizona companies.
  • Support development and implementation of a fit‑for‑purpose ERP system as the company scales from exploration through feasibility and into construction, including chart of accounts design, cost center structure, and project accounting configuration.
Physical Demands

Ability to understand, follow, and communicate work assignments, procedures, and safety requirements in English. Must be able to frequently sit, stand, walk, and lift or carry up to 10 pounds.

Redhawk Copper Inc. promotes a drug/alcohol free work environment with mandatory employment drug testing and on‑going random drug testing as per applicable State Laws.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of progressive accounting or finance experience, preferably within mining, exploration, natural resources, or industrial operations.
  • Familiarity with the cost structure and financial reporting requirements of a large‑scale open pit copper project advancing through prefeasibility or feasibility stages preferred.
  • Strong understanding of project accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Experience with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with implementing ERP/accounting systems would be viewed favorably.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced exploration environment.
  • Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration capabilities to bridge the gap between remote field geologists, operational managers, and corporate finance teams.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
