This role will oversee month‑end close, budgeting and forecasting for one of the largest regions. • Oversee accounting functions, reconciliations, and month‑end close processes.
• Manage the management reporting process on a quarterly and annual basis.
• Coordinate general ledger month‑end close, ensuring timely completion of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Review monthly financial results and analyze profit and loss at entity and consolidated levels.
• Streamline processes for recording journal entries and performing account reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting guidelines for all accounting activities.
• Consolidate entries and prepare roll‑forwards for financial statement preparation.
• Communicate accounting issues and evolving guidance to management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on system enhancements and business requirements.
• Provide input for budget planning and monitor fiscal performance.
• Implement controls to manage business risks and maintain financial integrity.
• Assess staffing needs and foster an ethical, collaborative work environment.
• Support and guide staff accountants.
• Assist external auditors as required.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 7+ years of experience in financial operations
• Background in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) or manufacturing industry
• CPA designation or MBA (a plus)
• Experience with SAP platform (a plus)

$140,000-$160,000 + bonus
