Key Responsibilities Tax Planning & Advisory- Lead sophisticated tax planning and consulting engagements
- Develop proactive tax strategies for construction and real estate clients
- Research and resolve complex federal and state tax matters
- Advise clients on entity structuring and tax-efficient business decisions
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability and reduce tax exposure
- Advise clients on percentage-of-completion and completed contract accounting methods
- Assist with Section 460 matters and long-term contract accounting issues
- Consult on revenue recognition strategies
- Support bonding, surety, and financial reporting considerations
- Provide guidance on cost segregation and depreciation planning
- Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships
- Lead client meetings and planning discussions
- Provide year-round business and tax consulting support
- Communicate complex issues in a practical, understandable manner
- Identify opportunities to expand client services
- Mentor, supervise, and develop tax professionals
- Review work papers, tax returns, and deliverables
- Provide technical guidance and coaching
- Help build future leaders within the firm
