The Flight Operations Quality Assurance Assistant is responsible for supporting the Quality Assurance team by monitoring student training records for accuracy and completeness, conducting binder audits, ensuring flight training times are accurately recorded and maintained, printing, organizing, and distributing training materials and Flight Operations resources, scanning, filing, and maintaining documents within data and scheduling management systems, creating, updating, and maintaining internal documents and records, developing and maintaining aircraft checklists as required, organizing and maintaining files, folders, and binders for flight instructors and students, preparing, ordering, and distributing materials for students and flight instructors, assisting with organizing parachute rigging (every 180 days) and maintaining all related documentation as required, and participating in other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities- Support the Quality Assurance team by monitoring student training records for accuracy and completeness
- Conduct binder audits
- Ensure flight training times are accurately recorded and maintained
- Print, organize, and distribute training materials and Flight Operations resources
- Scan, file, and maintain documents within data and scheduling management systems
- Create, update, and maintain internal documents and records
- Develop and maintain aircraft checklists, as required
- Organize and maintain files, folders, and binders for flight instructors and students
- Prepare, order, and distribute materials for students and flight instructors
- Assist with organizing parachute rigging (every 180 days) and maintaining all related documentation, as required
- Participate in other duties as assigned
- Previous experience in flight operations and/or quality assurance preferred, but not required
- Availability to work evenings & weekends as needed
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior experience working in a team-based or office environment
- Proficiency in Windows applications, with strong skills in Excel & Outlook
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to advocate for yourself & communicate confidently
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
- Effective communicator within a team environment, both verbally & in writing
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage a high-volume workload efficiently
- Excellent organizational skills
- Must be willing to work shifts
- Must possess a legal work permit in the U.S.
