JOB TITLE: SENIOR ADMINISTRATIVE CLERK
CALENDAR: 2081
HFT OR 2081
HPT (9 MONTH)
GRADE 107 (SUPPORT HOURLY)
Job Goal: Perform a variety of clerical services, following standardized procedures, in an assigned area.
Minimum Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent, including courses in business-related subjects
- Some previous clerical experience preferred
- Ability to type accurately at an acceptable rate of speed
- Proficiency in computer skills and applications as related to this position
- Ability to work cooperatively with others
- Flexibility to work in assigned areas and possess the required knowledge and skills of and adherence to district policies and procedures affecting assigned work
- Perform a wide variety of clerical tasks, including typing, filing, coding, and preparing reports
- Maintain a variety of records and files
- Input data into the computer
- Receive inquiries by telephone or in person and give out appropriate information
- Relieve other absent staff members
- Maintain the confidentiality of protected student and staff member information even after no longer employed
- Be flexible and perform other duties relating to the general job function as assigned by the supervisor
- Accept responsibility for students' well‑being and safety while they are in the employee's care
- Operating and caring for school districts' equipment properly
- Follow district policies as outlined
