Position: Senior Administrative Clerk 4 hours per day

Senior Administrative Clerk (Part-Time, 4 hours per day)

Location: Chandler, Arizona (Independence, Chandler USD 80)

Salary: $17.86 per hour

Calendar: 2082PT – July 10 – May 21, 2027;
Total work days: 184, paid holidays: 6, total paid days: 190

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, including courses in business‑related subjects
  • Some previous clerical experience preferred
  • Ability to type accurately at an acceptable rate of speed
  • Proficiency in computer skills and applications relevant to the position
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others
  • Flexibility to work in assigned areas and possess required knowledge and skills
  • Adherence to district policies and procedures affecting assigned work

Core

Job Functions:

  • Perform a wide variety of clerical tasks, including typing, filing, coding, and preparing reports
  • Maintain records and files
  • Input data into the computer
  • Answer inquiries by telephone or in person and provide appropriate information
  • Relieve other absent staff members
  • Maintain confidentiality of protected student and staff information even after leaving employment
  • Be flexible and perform other duties relating to general job function as assigned by the supervisor
  • Protect students' well‑being and safety while in the employee's care
  • Operate and care for school district equipment properly

Physical Requirements:
