POSITION SUMMARY

The Automotive Highline Technician is responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing luxury and high-performance vehicles in accordance with manufacturer and dealership standards. This position requires strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship. The technician will utilize factory diagnostic equipment and specialty tools, complete required documentation, and participate in ongoing manufacturer training and certification programs, including electric and hybrid vehicle technology.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair highline and luxury vehicles according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Perform inspections, routine maintenance, mechanical repairs, and advanced diagnostic work.
  • Utilize factory diagnostic equipment, specialty tools, and technical resources.
  • Accurately document diagnostic findings, repairs performed, and recommended services.
  • Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, electronic, and computerized vehicle systems.
  • Diagnose and service electric and hybrid vehicles or obtain required EV certifications.
  • Communicate repair concerns and additional service needs to Service Advisors.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow manufacturer, dealership, and safety procedures at all times.
  • Participate in manufacturer training and continuing education as required.
  • May work indoors or outdoors and be exposed to vehicle traffic, varying temperatures, noise, and typical automotive workplace conditions.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous experience as an automotive technician, preferably with luxury, European, or highline vehicles.
  • Technician skill levels from experienced Entry Level through Master Certified will be considered.
  • Porsche or other luxury/manufacturer certifications are preferred but not required.
  • Training and certifications from other manufacturers may be transferable.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic abilities.
  • Experience with electric or hybrid vehicles is preferred, or willingness to become EV certified.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dealership environment.
  • Commitment to quality workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Dependable and able to work in a fast-paced service environment.
