About the RoleChapman Freeway Chevrolet is seeking a Quick Lane Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will educate customers on the importance and value of routine vehicle maintenance, make service recommendations, and keep customers informed throughout the service process. You will work closely with a team of Express Technicians and collaborate with parts and service team members to ensure customers receive a smooth, efficient, and positive service experience.
Quick Lane Advisors report directly to the Service Director.
- Schedule, confirm, and prepare for customer appointments to ensure an efficient service experience
- Determine vehicle service needs based on customer concerns, vehicle inspections, and current mileage
- Educate customers on recommended maintenance and available services
- Write accurate repair orders, including transparent cost and time estimates
- Obtain customer authorization for recommended services
- Process customer payments and close completed repair orders
- Communicate regularly with technicians and parts associates to ensure timely completion of work
- Keep customers informed of their vehicle's service status and any additional recommendations
- Follow up with customers regarding their service experience and overall satisfaction
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire service process
- Minimum 1 year of customer service or sales experience required
- Prior automotive Service Advisor or Service Writer experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, both in person and over the phone
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales goals
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
