Whatis the Job:
- Execute strategic sourcing efforts for products and suppliers to fulfill open inquiries.
- Assist the sales team by providing technical product guidance and recommending customer solutions.
- Ensure quick and accurate responses to customer requests to deliver an exceptional service experience.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, contracts and delivery timelines with suppliers.
- Identify and pursue opportunities that lower sourcing costs, expand product offerings and increase customer value.
- Perform market research and spending analysis to uncover cost‑saving opportunities and improve supplier performance.
- Maintain strong, productive relationships with suppliers to ensure high‑quality and economical solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support business development and maximize growth opportunities.
- Oversee tender processes and manage contract negotiations.
- Contribute as part of a skilled, fast‑moving team to help meet organizational objectives.
- Build in‑depth knowledge of the product portfolio, supplier network, competitive landscape, and customer applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, or at least 2 years of relevant experience
- Prior experience in sourcing or supply chain preferred
- Skilled in supplier assessment, negotiation, and selection
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and solution‑oriented mindset
- Comfortable working on‑site in a fast‑paced environment
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills
- Ability to learn and understand technical product information
- Strong negotiation and decision‑making capabilities
- Proficient computer skills (MS Office); SAP ERP experience is a significant plus
- Flexible, proactive mindset with the ability to think strategically
- Strong teamwork skills and willingness to support colleagues
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively
- Experience with industrial supplies, MRO items, critical spares, or electrical components is highly beneficial
